Now my for question, and honestly this is important. I need to understand this. How come when i pee facing the wind my pants get wet?

 

The starting conditions for the trailer doors to operate optimally is the trailer on flat ground and empty.

As the relationship between the points of contact between the trailer and the ground changes there is a downstream effect which is to create a difference in the relationship between the skeleton, or support structure, of the trailer and the total weight the skeleton supports.

The change in weight distribution spread out over the entire skeleton causes the skeleton to change shape enough to effect the relationship between the skeleton and the doors, doors which do not change shape.

As a previous reply mentioned the area of the skeleton that is responsible for the relationship between the skeleton and the door changes from the shape of a rectangle to basically a parallelogram.

 

Think of a piece of plywood. If you put the plywood laying across 2 sawhorses you can press on it in the middle of the plywood and it will move up and down. Now, stand the plywood vertically and push on one corner. It won't deflect any measurable amount. Or think of a fork. you can fold it in half easily in one direction, but not at a right angle to the flatter dimension.

 

Ignorance of "no doors" on a flat of RGN is bliss... Less problems with them doors...
