Why is it sometimes impossible to shut the trailer doors on sloped ground?

Me thinks needs more than answers. Just saying..

It’s a Quixotic quest then, we all know a troll will never be able to understand physics. Back under your bridge now.

 

Will a simple answer suffice or do you require a "level of physics?"

 

You would think not having doors would create MORE problems, right? Not so fast!

 

But what if the troll lives under a drawbridge? Because drawbridges flex when they open, and the troll would have to understand the physics of why the bridge opens higher in the middle... or some other stupid thing!

 

The whole physics thing is like the Mitch Hedburg joke:

"When you're in Hollywood and you're a comedian, everybody wants you to do other things. All right, you're a stand-up comedian, can you write us a script? That's not fair. That's like if I worked hard to become a cook, and I'm a really good cook, they'd say, "OK, you're a cook. Can you farm?"

 

We aren't talking about front to back flex, but side to side flex.

 

Its less about gravity as it is...something else. First the bottom of the trailer doesn't really move, it can't. The floor is fairly rigid. The walls and the ceiling however can move pretty easy.
And it's more like twisting rather than flexing. If the rear tandems are on a different angle than the front of the trailer the trailer is then twisted or flexed. For gravity to play a part you'd have to be on a pretty good slope
