Glad to see I'm not alone in agreeance(<- is this a word spell check says it isn't) on this subject. I only know two people of out 15 in my driving class that doesn't smoke. All I the instructors smoke too. Trokers ( truckers + smokers) / Smucker ( smoking + truckers) please chime in. Why is smoking so awesome to you guys/gals?
You will find most do not even smoke what they lite up,it is just a habit and something to do to kill the boredom rather than eat junk food all day.A lot just lite up and they burn away.Out of one pack I actually only smoke half,rest just burn into ash.
It allows you to drive farther and makes you look better. There is a chance it affects your mood since everyone on the CB is such a kind soul. Did I mention smokers look better than non-smokers? Something about how cool we are. I don't think it's got anything to do with the stress of the job or your family being a million miles away since the kids and your significant others are probably perfect like mine. This is all a theory and the more I think about it the more I realize... ####, I need a cigarette.
I have actually read that from a psychological stand point that smokers appear to be more attractive than non smokers. It projects an risky disposition ( bad boy/bad girl complex ) I'd rather get tattoos and attract chicks.
Since I quit drinking caffiene / sugared drinks of all sorts years ago (only water now and tea now), helps me wake up in the morning. However, after smoking for 12 yrs, I switched over to a vaporizer (e-cig) about a year ago. Still get nicotine and a very realistic "smoke," but with none of the carcinogens, tar, cancer-causing junk. Less than half the cost of tobacco cigs, no smell and you can use em anywhere. Highly recommend.
