I hated when trailers were so close together, you have to duck-walk between them just to raise the landing gear just enough to get it out. -

Is that one of the many hundreds of bridges today that pitch and buck a heavy rig senseless and practically unseats a buckled driver, as it traverses mal-aligned bridge abutments?
We’re going to be seeing much more of this. Contractors just CAN NOT figure how to properly join pavement sections to concrete bridge sections that last.
Bad roads are quickly making me think about early retirement. I can deal with most of the regulatory BS and working amongst thousands of bad drivers, but the rapid deterioration of roads to critical stages is becoming a serious reality to deal with.
Imagine thousands of team drivers at any given moment are having to sleep in these trucks on these ####ed up roads.
This is likely not an issue to do with “because it’s a mega carrier”Shaggy and Numbnuts69 Thank this. -
Don't you know that you're supposed to go underneath the trailer to inspect it every time before you hook to it just like you see every driver does?
snowlauncher Thanks this. -

Some of US Express’ trailers look like they’re ready to fall apart just sitting let alone rolling along the highway. They make Western Express’ old SMX trailers look like Rolls-Royces.

I picked up a 97 once and the weight was 38k -
You know that speed bump that been begging to be hit @ 60 mph, you really should not have done that.
