The whole incident escalated very quickly. Would have been nice to have an audio with that one.

ZVar Thanks this. -
So use my scenario please, not a different one.
If there is not time, there is not time. I would still be on the brakes and slowing as fast as I safely could.
This driver not only didn't "hit the brakes ", he accelerated into the collision.
Watch the video. He moves towards the guard shack first. The guard intercepts, then he moves laterally towards the truck in an apparent attempt to move around the gaurd, the guard agains interposes himself in front of the driver.
At this point if the driver wanted to avoid contact he could back off, lower his hood, move to the passanger side, or several other things.
Once the guard pushed back, if the driver just covers up and protects himself then he has a pretty good civil suit, but he once again gets aggressive.
The guards are not blame free. If I was their supervisor there would be repercussions. However the driver started something he couldn't finish.
When he lost in court, his response was "the judge was corrupt"/"the fix was in". Then beggged for money to file an appeal. That confirmed to me the guards version is closer to the truth.Blackshack46 and ZVar Thank this. -
Not really sure why anyone wanted to change this to a race situation. That only furthers a different agenda than determining who was right or wrong in the situation.

He never actually said he was leaving. His actions and court testimony show he ws not trying to leave.
Why is everyone believing a criminal over the video evidence and court testimony? -
He stated he was...
