This right here. As soon as I read Pittsburgh I knew what the problem was. That and the near daily border crossings. Run intra-Canada or the US west coast.

Give them fair warning that if this continues, they are breaching your contract with them.

    If that doesn't work,

Park the truck and clean it out. Tell them where it is/where they can find the keys/and where to send your last commission check.

You're in the generation that doesn't expect you to work like a rented mule. I'd seriously reconsider your options- I've been driving for 20 plus years- my back hurts all the time and I'm not much further ahead today than I was 5 years in.

Just my opinion! But I worked for multiple bigger outfits, they are not concerned about your well being. ..

    It's not all dispatch.

Shippers, receivers and traffic all play a huge role in it for me.

Ok I'm sitting at the bar and grill in bertha mn eating a great Ruben sandwich and having a couple of beers. So forgive me for not reading the entire post.

Toughen up buttercup. If you want to go to college do it. This is America Work hard and be what you want. If they screwed you over tell them to suck it. Drivers are hard to find. Good drivers are really hard to find. They need us more than we need them.
