    thanks
    MB offer this:
-hydrostatic front drive, weight, height, fuel, comfort sensitive users

    mechanical:
-engageable 4WD, without additional reduction, to save weight and fuel, so 50:50% (70% of sales), will suit most users, (light and medium have additional reduction)
-permanent AWD with reduction and central differential, 30:70%, for most difficult conditions

my brother plow snow on mountain, it takes him 4hour to plow 18mille road and load salt.

he usually drive in low range of transfer box with unlocked(where possible) central differential, in high range gearbox, 5th or 6th gear. he says this way he is fastest in bends. in 5 milles of worst road there are 23 switchbacks, it is mostly single lane road.

they have about 240 snow plow trucks (without unimogs) , most are AWD/4WD, his MB is permanent, he says it is significantly better to have there permanent.

Back when I actually worked in US for some time (2012) it was impossible to get "sponsored" as truck driver, and get citizenship. Now it is possible, and it's not that complicated process.

Difference is, for Canada you just fly directly, and look for job there. You get 1 year permit, you need to make CDL once again, but it's really free proccess. For US, you look for company here, you make CDL again in states, BUT it costs around 10-12k $ ("sponsoring" process, not CDL).

Difference is, for US you get green card ( and after 5 years, citizenship), Canada gives you really nothing.

i'am not trying to turn this topic into politics.
yes education was better than now. school system is falling apart, they teach children how to be an idiot. they kill all will in these kids. they learn some stupid things, you will have to know mongolian history (of course including all dates), but will not understand how annual tax return system works. they will never teach you how to make CV or job application letter or anything useful.

craftsman school are full of problematic kids that are there because they did not had any will in life, could not get into better schools. we have huge shortage of skilled workers right now in all profession since we are in EU as they now work abroad.
Huge number of high educated people that wasted several years in collages and don't have any useful knowledge and who work at work position that would normally require just high school.

If you are serious in your profession, you can earn a lot of money right now.
I waited for installer of ceramics for 7months, he will be done this days at my house, i still dont know his price, he did great work so he can say whatever price he wants.
serious truck driver of tipper truck can earn 75% more than average salary. similar case with cnc operater.

until few years ago we had 18year for B and C1, 19y for C, 20y for C+E, 2year of experience on C/C+E and 21year for D cat. now kids with 18year can drive buses as in EU. since in East EU countries drivers can earn significantly higher salaries than average, this attract many people from other professions to start driving. they dont have any will for this, dont have any sense, dont care for anything except money, so this is perfect way how to get koleka.

i think maybe only 30% of drivers can drive real drawbar trailer even with ebs.
for about 7-8years they can drive tandem trailer in driving school

my cousin moved there few years ago, he is happy with canada and see no reason to move into usa.
he moved because his wife did not work here, he had to pay alimony for kids and due credits.
he bring 2 children and wife. bought peterbilt 379, house and 2 cars (of course he have credit on house)

this 4800 seems to be much higher than road models.
here for example 6x6 truck will be 8inch higher in suspension than road 6x4 truck with same tires.
MB and Scania lift engine and transmission upwards to keep frame lower.

    pushbroom and daf105paccar Thank this.

I guess you can say it's the European term for steering wheel holder.
