I am a DZ driver recently back to trucking after years away. I have had a couple of short term contract type jobs lasting 2 and 3 months but I am looking for a full time gig. Many of the adds I see for DZ drivers ask for a CVOR report, but my understanding is that the owner of the truck is responsible for the CVOR not employee driver. Am I wrong or is this a scam used by companies that have screwed up their own CVORs? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Why would a DZ driver driving a company truck need a CVOR

Each driver has their own cvor too. Its just a record of all your commercial driving violations from the past 5 years. Go to your local service Ontario office or kiosk and get it along with your abstract. Your abstract only has hta tickets from the last 3 years. Its about $20 for both. Employers usually need to see both so that they can get you insured. Make lots of copies if you're job hunting.

CVOR for a driver just shows what tickets you got while the green and white had ya pulled over lol. I think last time I got abstract/cvor it was 20-25 like mentioned above.
