Not sure on DD16 but my DD15’s have been trouble free mostly. Nothing major. Do not idl them for long periods. Keep up maintenance and just normal things. Both mine are in 5700xE

One I’m sorta looking at has under 300” WB and 120” bunk
I’ve heard issues with windows icing but maybe that’s been addressed by now)

This is the fresh air door. That screw holds a stop that prevents the door from completely closing, meaning there's always some recirc. Makes the windows extremely prone to frost/fogging if you get back in the truck with any moisture on you. And it let's in some noise, as that's directly open to the outside vent.

Pull the stop, and thank me later.

Crap, I meant to attach pic. It's just a piece of bent sheet metal. I'll edit pic in other post.

I just moved into a new 2020 4900ex about two months ago. It's a glider that was built last fall and just put into service this spring.

This is the third new glider I've had since 2013, the other two got passed on to newer hires.

This one has only 25k on the odometer right now, but all the stupid issues I had with fogging windows, rattles and squeaks, leaky windows and such on the previous trucks have not been a problem on this one. Had a trinary switch fail two weeks ago, which kept the engine fan on all the time, but otherwise it's been great so far. No more fogging windows is soooo nice! And the redesign on the radiator supports makes the ride really smooth. ( The upper rad support goes to the frame instead of the firewall)

Overall I'm pleased with this one so far.
