You'll faster go bankrupt hauling nothing, if you have payments and no better idea of what to do.
Better than showing what $2 per mile will do, show how to avoid it and where to find 4 dol per mile.

Instead of doom and gloom, show the light in the tunnel.

The light at the end of the tunnel is many people quitting the industry due to low rates currently & trucks getting cheaper then things will be better for those left standing.

Just pointing out that with the numbers you provided you're not "hauling" $2 per mile freight, you're "hauling" $1.70 per mile freight.

    After the cut sure.
To your carrier and broker it's $2 though.

@Kenworth6969 What’s up with all the industry going to crap post’s and only adding the worst of the worst posted loads and jobs that you can find? I also see that a lot of the guys that have been on here a while are not posting the same doom and gloom stuff that you have been.I’m curious as to what your motivation for all these threads are? Hopefully getting everyone on board and starting a rate and fuel price protest similar to the vaccine one in Canada? I don’t know man but all these other guys that have been here are not saying that it’s not worth running anymore so I don’t think it’s as bad as you’re saying it is.It might be for you but others situation is different.

It is getting uglier from what I see. Don't get me wrong there's still plenty of decent paying stuff out there but it is slowing down, and open deck should be picking up this time of year not getting worse. I don't believe fuel prices are as ugly they're going to get yet either.
