The company I run for also has flatbeds, conestogas, and some vans with ramps. The company trucks do a lot of that stuff, but at the same time I could too if I wanted to. But I’m not interested in hauling glass all the time or having to build decks in the trailer to haul pad wrap loads, and then taking the decks out and trying to store the plywood and all the blankets when you have to load back. The way I look at it is if the overall company is doing well then it allows them to grow and pick up more contracts and that’s better for all of us that are here.
Why you'll go Bankrupt hauling around $2 a mile loads

And a bunch of other fees
I now get 75% but the cargo etc is covered by the company. I just cover my own truck and trailer plus the comp thing etc
I’m not 100% sure but I think Mercer does the same -
Was an awesome company and we were given all the tools to dispatch ourselves.
The company owner is also a TTR member. -
Even at 100,000 miles that cargo and couple fees won't come close to $45,000.
Giving up extra percentage adds up quick, especially when earner higher revenue. -
