I also just switched to att unlimited with wifi hotspot, and I encountered no issue in February. Granted, I dont watch live tv or play online multiplayer games too often, so I probably dont need too much data. I believe I used less than 20g last month

Watching for Starlink Mobile to release too.

Same dial data packages on an iPhone and iPad but I also have a low end stand alone hotspot for like $10/mo that I use for a few special use cases.

But ya, I mostly use the data on my iPad so it’s all good but they made me keep the same package on my iPhone in order to set up my iPad as a second “phone line”

Im happy for the most part but ya, I’ll give Starlink a try as soon as it’s released. Beta or Regular.

What I’d like to see is a toggle switch for high speed and throttled speeds. I only “need” high speed when I’m watching video. The rest of the day I would be fine with throttled speeds. I really don’t care “how fast” e-mail and text messages and other data flows into my phone.

But as it currently is, all email, texts and miscellaneous data downloads every day consuming my “high speed” allotment.

just give me a toggle to go from throttle to high speed when I want to watch video and not for the first X Gb of data that I receive.

If I still consume more high speed than my plan allows, then throttle me 24/7 until next month. But at least I used all my high speed data for things that I need bandwidth for.

That hardware is interesting. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. Seen a few different options but all seemed very pricey. I like the VPN to VPN option (with two units) if I wanted to connect back to my home network too. Couple other neat features as well.

I’d probably keep my current Verizon plan but slap the SIM card into this thing and call it good. Verizon is wanting over $300 for their stand alone Wi-Fi hotspots so for a couple hundred more I’d get this.

    Thanks

make sure you are on the top tier true unlimited plan then pay 10 bucks for an app called easy tether, use a usb cord to connect to your computer then it uses your phones data and not hotspot
