There are good neighborhoods and bad neighborhoods in every city. Two of his rental homes are on his block on the same street where his wife grew up, so its not like they are slumlording the place.

And yes, before the question arises, they are white.

Ahhhh that may explain why he can't charge too much. Montgomery is poor and rough around the edges

Memphis is wired the same way. It's a lot of good places there but they get overshadowed by the negative reputation. I've been in Memphis over a decade, and I don't have problems. That's because I left the old life behind lol

Get to know the ends and outs of a side dump, belly dump, end dump and a 10 wheeler with a pup and you can go to about any gravel outfit about anywhere and make a living— so long as you show up on time, got a fairly clean record and tell them straight up what the deal is

i was trying to trying if some local stuff that every town has

I was going to suggest dump trucks since there is construction going on nearly everywhere .
Or maybe see if you can get into tow trucks, every town large or small , has several tow companies .
Getting your foot in the door somewhere to get the experience is the hardest part .

    or propane trucks .

    school bus driver

    trash truck driver

rental delivery like with sunbelt or United rentals

But it doesn't change the fact that Alabama ranks 48 out of 54 states and territories on rental cost. Its literally the 6th CHEAPEST place to rent in the US (including territories, and they are the cheaper ones).

It seems the midwest and the south are the remaining affordable regions in the country.

I'm about to move from New England to Ohio and it's a different world as far as cost of living.
