trkr-jb with appearently a year (trucker? 1 year) year count. If thats true you havent been driving long enough to know that much about trucking period, so you wouldent know about micro-managed or not. Rookie sorry but you still are a rookie your self at this point. Ever got or had to find your own load before, negoatied the freight rate on loads before, given a phone number from your dispatch to call and get your load information before, on and on? No you havent! Till you have at least a few years in the industry you might think you know but you don`t and nobody out here with less than 2 1/2 to 3 years experience really know. And if you have only done one type of freight at one company you dont have the total amount of experience as another driver who has 2 1/2 3 years that has dry box and reefer and or open deck freight, and or tanker, or seen a couple or few companies and how other places do things, good bad or indefferent, cant have the experience with out the exposier to other things and places and more than a few years at this. Yes the company has a good safe stat score, but sorry they are not the top one. Real good but not at the top. Yes I know their scores and others too. Experience is not just years, its that plus exposier to many additional things, types of freight, types of trailers, trucks, companies, company driving, contract driving, O/O a truck, so no n so on so. According to(someone else) from you means you dont really know, only he said, she said. As for benefits trust me you dont have any because they dont. You pay for your health insurance, no hollidays, no vacation, no vacation pay from 1 day thru 1-2-3-4.95 years. Maby you can accomplish 5 full years with out a vacation or time off, but I doubt it. More than that no one should, or should have to. Ya $10,000.00`s a hell of a carrot, but then just exactly how many have actually accomplished it and received it. Whats that number hummm. Seen both sides there, overall good people, but dont expect any gratituies, they even charge you a fee to pay lumpers on their loads, they put money on your card for any reason you pay a fee, unless you want to pay out of your pocket and funds and then get reimbursed. and then if they put it on your card you still pay a fee. Look at your settlement statments what you paid the lumpers, what they put in your statment in and what they took back out of your statment. You paid a fee on eack stransaction even with in the same multi stop load. Again I`m not saying good or bad, just first hand knowledge facts. And many many years out here way beyond 1-2-3 even beyond 10, Many many different people at many places, many different ways and systems, many different types of freight and trailers. I know first hand how and or where they service equipment, and much more.

Micro managed is the last thing I feel at Wil Trans/Jim Palmer. And I know what micro managed feels like having worked twice for Crete Carriers!!
