With no truck payment you shouldn't have any issues what so ever. Good Luck!

I've had my authority for six months now and to date there is only one broker that I called and was told I needed six months. Landstar should not be a problem, I book loads with them all the time.

Thanks driver that's what I was hoping to hear. I've heard some brokers won't touch you until you have at leasr two years.

One of there Agents tried to explain it to me once, they were very vague. It has something to do with you being based in Florida as well as Landstar's HQ being in FL.

Not so sure about the FL thing with LS. I know new carriers in FL that may as well be leased to LS the amount of freight they haul for them.

Had very few that wanted a year. And very few that cared at all.

The craziest one what JB Hunt. I think they are a year but they will be calling you 3x a day to do power only even before your authority is active.
