My husband has had his license suspended since January 12th I believe for not paying 3 tickets, the last ticket is to be paid on March 22nd and then he can pay the restoration fee to restore his license. Would he be able to get a CDL at all after his license is fixed? We are in Connecticut.
Will a past suspended license prevent me from getting my CDL?

Yes, he will be able to get a cdl, unless the tickets were for serious moving violations such as 15 mph over the speed limit.
Even then he might get a cdl, but being hired is another problem.
What were the tickets for? -
He already has a guaranteed job with his uncle delivering oil, but the speeding tickets were all going over the limit. I believe one was a 100 in a 55 :// The other ones were not as bad I believe, don’t know the exact numbers

That 100 in a 55 probably have to wait until it's 5 yrs. old. Trucking insurance companies class that as reckless driving.aylakepi and snowmantrucking101 Thank this.
