Apply to Stevens Transport in Tampa.
Meals & lodging provided during cdl school.
CDL school is free if you agree to work for Steven Transport for 12 mos.

Probation is no travel restrictions. Just need to call once a month to check in and that's it. Let me check with my lawyer because I need to get some more clarification because I thought this crap stayed on my record even after probation. But I just Google that in the state of FL that adjudication withheld does go away after successful completion of his or her agreement with the court. OK thanks everyone. If this is true I will patiently wait til 2023 to apply for trucking companies or do your route Chinatown with the companies u listed on here locally

Apply now, then you'll know for sure if you have to wait until 2023.
Sygma and New World Van Lines both have driver helper programs. If you need a job now, try those two for driver helper job. Both have Orlando facilities.

Back in 2012 I never met my probation officer. Talked to him on the phone once. He said he had bigger problems to worry about than some guy that did something stupid while he was drunk LOL.

Im in a similar situation. I recently obtained my CDL Class A on March 6th 2024, and have been having trouble getting a job in the trucking industry due to 2 charges that I have on my background. 1 is a Class A Misdemeanor , Convicted - Offense: Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Member, January 29th, 2021 and a 2nd Degree Felony , Deferred Judgment - Offense: Aggravated Assault With/Deadly Weapon , January 29th, 2021 (Fire Arm) and probation for 60 months . Does anyone know of any trucking/hotshot companies that will take a chance and hire me with those 2 charges? I'm also located in Texas around Frisco and Denton area. please LMK

Stay out of the hotshot business.

The CDL job market for new(er) drivers REALLY SUX right now.

Even for those with clean backgrounds.

Try Western Express. They are a known "second chance" carrier...that hires/trains new CDL holders:

Drive with Western - Western Express

You will probably have better success if you go flatbed with them (instead of dry van).
