Have a 2007 9400 international. Going to wire in a 3000w inverter and run a microwave and refrigerator on it. If I don't run the truck overnight and the fridge is running and I use the microwave will it drain the battery by morning? Anyone have any thoughts or experience on it?

If the trucks not running and you use the micro it will kill your batteries in less to 5 min. Low voltage alarm will go off in less than 2 min

Just start the truck when you use the mirco.

The fridge doesn't use much at all. If you have good batteries the fridge can be on for 24-48 hrs and the truck will still start.. Texas summer more like 24, up north in winter more like 48

So when you stop cook your food THEN turn the truck off and you'll be fine the next day..

I leave my inverter on most nights and weekends when I’m home. Powers a 1.7 cu ft fridge.

If I’m out of the truck longer than a few days or the fridge is empty, I’ll turn it off.

Truck will be low on voltage and hard starting if I let it sit all weekend in cold weather. Warmer weather it hasn’t been a problem. Anything over two days sitting is when I’ve had to charge batteries.

Also my Mack only has three batteries. Your truck may have four. Regardless, I have had no problems letting mine sit overnight with the fridge running.

Consider keeping a spare alternator in your truck and installing a amp gauge.

Turn your truck off after the amp gauge goes back to zero..

You could get a voltage gauge that plugs in the cigarette lighter. Run about 10- 15 dollars.

You can wire it to 100 batteries all of them will be dead by morning.

Your inverter will kill the truck in about 4 minutes, if your truck knows the voltage is bleeding fast, it will alarm you in 2 minutes more or less. If you do nothing then you are in a truly dead truck, in addition to now having to replace ALL 4 batteries.
