In 1993 I had a speeding ticket that was completely drop because it was only 5mph over and judge threw it out and it still shows up on backround check as such so good luck making that one disappear.

it was under a special provision they call it provision 801 or something
i paid 2,500 for this lawyer he was running for judge when he got this deal and why would he want another 1,000 in a year for es ponging it if its still going to stay on my record
i used to own a dump truck until i the arrest i was making 500 dollars a day it doesn't matter what my driving record is i will buy another dump truck and make a lot more than a tiny 30 or 40 cents a mile
maybe yall are right like the 2,500 hundred dollar lawyer might of been blowing smoke up my ### about the 1 year probation but maybe yall are wrong and it will completely disappear just like he promised
either way man some of you guys are glass half empty kind of people....

Since 2005 the federal government required that if a person is a CDL holder his/her driving record will not be expunged of any conviction. In that regard it may remain on your record for up to 7-years pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act................Sorry

As far as a loan to buy a truck.......what bank is loaning money to buy a truck in this economy that doesn't check your MVR?

And don't you also have a post in this regard in the truckers legal advice thread telling you the same thing as in here?

I started out with them and have no regrets. They treated me well, and I had an excellent trainer, and DM.. My only problem was with miles at times, but I can blame most of that on me as being a new and inexperienced driver.. I had one accident with them and they never reported it on my DAC.

the guy i worked for doesn't care about reckless driving he has mostly got illegal aliens working for him making 500 a day he will let you buy the truck you are driving from him and let you keep his dot and his insurance until you pay it off but now i think my cdl is disqualified for a year so i will have to do something else but when i go back i might just pay cash for another truck like i did last time

i will ask that lawyer about the federal law that you cant es pong any cdl conviction
especially before i pay him the 1,000 dollars

life sucks man ever since i got cuaght drinking and driving i went from owning my own business making thousands of dollars a week to working random odd jobs

i think that i have paid more for a dui than the average joe

all because a friend wanted to go out to a casino then force me to drive him home even though i was drunk so he could get to work

actually he was streering the car from the passenger side while i was messing with my cell phone and his dumm ### started swerving and got me the dui then he got out of the truck and said on camera " I told him not to drive " which is the opposite of the truth

some people are not your friends and really want to just screw you over

He forced you to drive him home? Wow.

Anyway, I guess if you can find guys who'll hire illegals and folks with less than perfect driving records, I should be able to find someone to hire me with a cdl, a perfect record, but no experience. I'd like to do some part time dump work or something.
