will copilot v8 truck for android restart route after a phone call?

    Just wondering if copilot v8 truck will restart route after a phone call on android? Also, is multitasking killing the app for anyone? I'm about to pull the trigger on buying this but it would be useless if it restarts all the time. I stream a lot of pandora and jango (great pandora alternative btw, it has premade stations unlike Pandora) and have the occasional phone call. Not to make this a multi question thread, but, is it pretty easy to route around big cities using loops on copilot? If you hit your home soft key and go to a different app and return to Copilot; will it still be en route? Thanks to anyone that can help. I initially plan to use my OG Driod for this purpose but will mount a android tablet in a couple months to run all my navigation and media apps, using my phone as a phone only by then. Thanks again!

    First, just discovered jango, it rocks. (Pandora has been wanting too much personal info and has been busted sharing it)

    As for android copilot, you can use it while on the phone. It will save your destination until you delete it. I have the car version, so I just use it as a reference.

    Your buying it anyway is OK, good to have something that works with no signal needed.

    I am assuming that since the reg. copilot continues during your call (silently) then so will the trucker edition.

    Cowboy is Jango as good at finding new tunes you may like as Pandora? I haven't done any personal info, and I love the new classical/rock crossovers it has found for me.

    Yeah I just discovered jango too. I like it better. There are actually three settings for discovery, A lot of new stuff, medium discovery, and only hits. Wayyy better UI IMO too. Give it a try, its free after all...

    BTW thanks for the input. I haven't been able to play with it yet. Apparently you have to download the maps via wifi, well,Loves wifi in Port Allen LA sucks.

    That WiFi only thing stinks the first time. The USA map alone is over 2 gigs.
