will i ever find a job?????????

    I worked for a company for 1 month right out of trucking school before they let me go.I was let go because i had to leave training for medical reasons that i have documentation for.They would not return my calls except to let me go.Now i am having a hard time finding a company that will pick up on my training were i left off.Will i ever find a job or should i just give up trying?????Any info would be greatly appreciated thanx.

    How long has it been since you were in the seat? Are the medical issues cleared up and signed off by a doc?

    It's a pretty rough market out there right now because of the economy.

    We really can't say because we don't know how aggressive you've been in finding work. If it were me I'd be out hitting the bricks and speaking to as many terminals as I could along with filling out apps on line. I can suggest that you make yourself a list of what type of companies you'd like to work for and then download trucking companies in your area and go see them. Do not download trucking jobs because you'll get the same old companies. Use all your resources and just do not depend on the computer for your livelihood. You may find alot of companies that will tell you to apply on line but the trip will not be wasted if you check the terminal and some of the drivers. You have to do what others are not doing. Good luck.
