Just want to know if any trucking companies will refuse to hire me if I reveal to them that I have liver cirrhosis. 4 years sober, healthy diet and still feel healthy. I want to be honest about everything, but I don't want to shoot myself in the foot. Thanks and stay safe out there.

You can reveal it if you want; but I wouldn't if I was in that situation. If it won't show up on a DOT physical, you should be ok. Did you pass the DOT physical?
If it's advanced, then you probably should reconsider driving.
I had hernia surgery one time and didn't say anything about it. Took two weeks vacation and had the surgery then went back to work and no one knew anything. It's no ones business.
Maybe @Moose1958 will reply; he stays up to date on DOT medical issues.

If you are that independant, go for it. But if you are either advanced or endstage forget it. Find a place to either transplant or live out your days.

It's not necessarily a DOT item on exam. It is not common that People who have bad issues in life want to go trucking and it really does not screen for that unless its advanced enough that any old doctor can detect it.

I lost my mother to complications after transplant. Unfortumately that was not the problem. It was a colony of Bacteria outside and surrounding her Trachea and Bronchital Passages. She was brain dead 4 days before her husband pull the plug. Total billing approached 250,000 US Dollars.

If you feel frisky, go for it.

I don't even think it is on the list for the examiner to investigate, so i don't see an issue.

However what you need to worry about is eating healthy on the road, most likely won't happen as a newbie.

Famous last words. Don't volunteer information if you don't have to. And that isn't particular to trucking.

Many drivers on this forum sabotage job prospects because they demand the company know everything that's ever happened in their life, even though the company doesn't want to hear all that and wonders why the person is blabbing away with information that isn't relevant.

OP...Most companies won't touch you. They'll see you as a high risk employee and nobody wants that.
But...if you don't say anything and you're otherwise healthy enough to do a good job you'll probably be alright.
I'm not saying you should lie. Just don't talk when you don't need to.
Caveat...if your cirrhosis turns up in your medical records or in a company or DOT physical you'll probably be let go.
