In commercial vehicle not Personal vehicle. If you have two serious offenses in a commercial vehicle then your done. If you do it in a personal vehicle then it just goes off your points. But it adds up quick cause serious violations are a lot of points. Plus your companies insurance might drop you too even if your CDL is valid.

Oh it's easy in a car. They have speed limits that a 55mph on the interstate. New cars roll easily 75mph without making much noise nowadays. Before I was a driver I had a ton of tickets, caught racing, car impounded. Paid my fees and dues. People change. Don't be so quick to judge somebody. Had my CDL license for 10yrs and out of 12 years I've had a clean record and no accidents. Things happen, he'll realize it the hard way right now by getting turned down but it might make him change.

Use the cruise control & don't worry about the flow of traffic. The clown behind you blowing his horn like he's special isn't the one with a job on the line.

All of them are 15 mph and over. That, in trucking, is considered reckless driving. You're probably not getting hired.

I don't see very many people being quick to "judge" here. Most of us are just trying to answer his question, and tell it like it is. As far as the more judgmental posts go, it appears that they are just going by what he has told us, which doesn't make him look like a real good candidate to drive a truck.

I know it'd be difficult to be pulled over for speedin' on an Interstate in a Schneider Big truck.
I can't help but wonder what your wife thinks about the idea of teaming with you.

It's not a matter of judging him, I'm just saying the insurance companies will look at his record and probably say "hell no". And I'm pretty sure that those are major violations that disqualify him from holding a CDL.

Will be near impossible with that record. But look into construction, trash, septic, jobs people don't want because their less picky. That crap usually pays pretty good though. I got a buddy doing trash and he makes a little over $1000/wk his driving record is way worse than yours.

I hate to say it but looks like your going to be looking for a desk job with them speeding tickets. Make sure the desk has no wheels for 5 years and you will ok for a while after that.
