I think we're many years away from Full autonomous vehicles. When the robot drivers start killing people and the cities and towns see their ticket revenue disappear theres gonna be some push back. I hope theres a lot.Last edited: Jan 9, 2020

Or and don't forget that those people who working right now one way or another using your product, so to who you gonna sell your crap if most of us will be replaced? To robot? Yeah have fun with that -
Look drivers wages are still higher for the amount of work the driver does, this shouldn't be just a job but a profession and we have a glut of drivers and capacity, our industry is very easy to get into and the license is joke when compared to other jobs or profession.
Robots won't take over the industry for a long time, hell I don't think most will be alive when they get a foothold in the industry, these companies (except Honda) are looking to cashing in on an industry that is an open industry. They are looking at government grants as a form of revenue to produce something. Short term money grab, that is all it is ans you can see the eld crap with all of a sudden so many eld products on the market and a lot went away quickly. -
If theres no shortage, then why is it so easy to find a trucking job? You can literally get your license and within 3 days be hired on by a company looking at at least 40-50k your first year. Tell me how many other fields out there are like that?
tarmadilo Thanks this.
