Will my leasing company find out?

I need to replace the seat cushion for my KW (paccar/paclease) truck. I called the KW parts counter and they wanted the last six digits of my vin so they could properly identify which seat cushion I needed for my truck, which makes sense since there is three different models in the GT700 series factory installed air ride seats including heated/cooled seats... if I give them the last three digits of the vin and then purchase the replacement seat cushion, will this flag me to paclease that I have replaced a part without authorization on their truck?

I meant to say “if I give them the last six of the vin and then purchase”...

    Ok, thank u...

I ended up calling a kenworth parts counter in Alberta and BC and just straight up asked them if it would flag me and they both said no, the one guy said the two systems r not connected in any way.

So based on what u guys have said and what the counter part guys on the other side of the country said... I’m gonna go for it and I’ll report back if it didn’t work out as hoped

    “Peed on the seat?”
That’s for me to know and a sucker on eBay to find out, lol, just kidding, the garbage man can if he’s really interested.
No, just cigarette burns, if it’s not cost prohibitive I may go for it because I like to keep my ashtray/cab neat. I’m gonna get dinged on it when the lease is up but the burn in the seat would likely get dinged separately and the cost in the future may be significantly lower if I just replaced it once (maybe twice) now rather than additional fees when the lease is up. Like I said, it depends on the price.

    Thanks all

    (Staring suspiciously)
I think the real question is why r u not paranoid, lol
U do have a good point though, I tend to over think things and be long winded, usually taking the long winding road

You're not paranoid if they really are out to get you.

I think I'd be more worried about them dinging me for the truck stinking of cigarette smoke than for replacing the seat.
