Will run fleet adventures

Ok so I transferred Friday to the will run fleet from my dcs account in ny. Went to Binghamton to pick up truck at a dealer. Truck was in shop for electrical issues. Got settled in and cleaned up the truck. Got load information to pick up empty in Syracuse. Got as far as Cortland and truck dies while im driving on 81. Pull over wait 45 minutes and truck starts again. Roadside wants me to bring it to shop near Syracuse. 2 hours later I arrive at shop. Truck turned off again on the way. Truck has been in shop since Friday night. I am in a hotel down the street. Apparently this truck has been having electrical issues for a year now. Mechanics can't figure out as of yet why its turning off while running. Can't wait to see what happens Monday.

 

Yeah have to wait for regular dispatch to come in on Monday. Funny thing is that the QUALCOMM doesn't work and its why it went into the shop and international is saying jb instructed them to disable it. Think the original plan was to bring it to Indiana and swap trucks. Just don't think it will get there.

No check engine lights at all. Driving and then the truck just dies. Still has lights and 4ways. On the shoulder it says electrical fault and after about 45 minutes I got a load shedding alert and was able to start the truck. Happened Friday night idling the truck too. When I left for hotel Saturday the mechanic isolated 2 wires that had 50 ohms on them and they weren't supposed to have any.

 

Ok. So I get up this morning and find out that the shop isn't going to begin working on the truck until the 2nd shift when the tech comes in. Now im pissed. Typically that means sit and wait all day and check into a hotel again when work isn't done. Called dispatch and they are amazingly very unhappy. Get a call back from dispatch telling me to go get a rental car and go to shrewsbury mass and get a different truck. So here I am in mass with the truck ready to go for the morning. Long day but so far old jb has done right without flinching or penny pinching. Got layover pay plus paid to drive out here its not the same but its something.
