Got a call from a recruiter for the Will Run group. .46cpm with $800.00 paid week of after 90 days out.
Anyone know what kind of runs these are? What trucks?
I'm single with no real home, camp at the exwifes house for home time, heck, She still does my books and finances and I still have other fringe benefits so being out 90 straight isn't that big a deal.
The recruiter answered some of my questions but want to hear from someone really doing it. Don't really care to hear how you wouldn't do it, would quit before you do, none of that nonsense that does not directly relate to the position.

I second this question having received a call today about the same position. Any actual info would be fantastic. I feel like i'm missing something but it sounded pretty good.

I looked into it before I took a shorter paying account, and now the wife is willing to get onboard with it. The runs for Will Run are awesome, man. The equipment is always a newer model Cascadia Evolution (15 or 16,) 1200w inverter installed, room for a fridge, a tv mount in the sleeper, and all that jazz.
We have the same anti-idle EPA crap as everyone else, but our temp is 30-65 no-idle range, which is good.
I still haven't gotten a straight answer about off time, but a recruiter would be a better source on that question than anyone else. Hope I answered at least a little of what you wanted. -
Run! You want dedicated or intermodal, Will run is no different than their dying OTR. I just spent a month averaging 1700 miles a week and begging for freight on this account. They talk it up real smooth, but it is still the same thing as regional OTR in the way that you will have more runs in the 250 to 350 mile range than suitable OTR runs. The runs got a little longer when I had my 2nd fleet manager, but then there is an extra day sitting between your pickup time and appointment time. I averaged about 30hrs left on my 70 per week because when your manager clocks out on Friday's, you won't get a thing until Monday. I finally offered to put in fuel to turn in my truck at the Charlotte yard. They did get me a load there instead, but my conversation with my FM was very interesting. They said they had freight, but they couldn't book freight with delivery times after business hours because a lot of drivers won't make them. This is why if I picked up a 400 mile run at 1100, instead of delivering at 1900, the appointment would be for the next morning at 0900. If the place you deliver to doesn't have parking so that you can get in without starting your time, then your day is done. Once I sit 22 Hours in Ohio waiting for a load. My conclusion is that if you are going to work then you will be very disappointed, if you like running 9 to 5 and like sitting in your truck away from home, then you will be very happy.

I'm on GP and I average 1700-2200 miles a week. It's frustrating as hell when you've got a wife, bills, kids, and all that #### and you can barely keep the lights on.
