I will be reporting to Schneider in Green Bay next week to begin training. During the phone interview they asked me about any accidents I might have had. Reading this forum the 1 thing I learned is be truthful as they check everything!. 7 months ago I was rear ended in my auto by a revoked driver at a stop sign. I was not cited and have a 100% clean record. he was cited. will this no fault incident affect my employment? THANKS
Will they hold this against me?

You might want to call them !!!!!
If you are involved in an accident, thru no fault of your own, your record isn't 100% !!!simplyred1962 Thanks this. -

Should not affect you if these are the facts. Make sure you have your OWN COPY of your mvr before leaving for orientation. I would say you should have your dac too, but you are a new driver so that should be irrelevant. Yes always be truthful with these companies, even your employment history. You might work for a company for two months before they find something in your past and "can" you. I hope you have a good time. Orientation and training is a blast! Bring a camera or even a video camera and document your experience. This will probably be one of the best experiences of your life! Good luck! Pm me if you have any questions.

Matsukes, you should not have a problem with the non preventable accident.
Schneider should have already pulled an MVR and DAC report on you for hiring purposes. I would take a copy of your MVR, like Chompi suggested.
Best of Luck to You!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

One more thing the Schneider Recruiter told me on the interview was I will be required to be on a per diem pay. I have read here on the forum that you SHOULD NOT sign up for the per diem. I mentioned this to the recruiter but she said it was required. WHY do they want to PUSH per diem?

It saves them their half of the FICA taxes
kickin chicken Thanks this. -
Cause its a huge tax break for them, up front, plus on the backside, it saves them alot in unemployment ins., retirement benefits, etc......
