I am a student driver who just finished orientation and went on training with a trainer. The training suppose to be for three weeks, but after two weeks and two days my trainer dropped me off in one of the terminals of the company. I was told my trainer said I can't shift, can't move the truck,n not safe after I have been driving everyday for my two weeks n two days training. I average about 550miles a day driving. My trainer always yell at me n always tell me we have language barrier. I didn't reported him be cos I had wanted to deal with it since my job is going to be dealing with diffrent characters anyway. So long and short of it all I was given a bus ticket to go home. Now am very curious if one I can get another trucking job and two if they will destroy my dac report. Someone help pls thanks. This was a flat Bedding
Will this affect my chance of getting hired by another company

Someone will hire you. Apply everywhere. Your trainer was an idiot. Shouldn't be yelling at students. Half the drivers I've met that speak English well, smell like they took a #### in their pants.
Don't give up ! America is for those who work hard.fastlanedanny, SHOJim and joseph1135 Thank this. -
if your trainer dropped you off, he thought you were not good enough. the company obviously did not want to put you with another trainer.
he must have expected a professional trucker out of school.
why he said you are unsafe, you have not told us. what did you do for him to say that??
you should have reported him, in retrospect.
will they DAC you?? most likely yes.
start send out applications NOW and start making calls, NOW, and start pounding the pavement...NOW.fastlanedanny, Chewy352 and TruckDuo Thank this. -
Thanks for the reply,I have applied to a company now and am waiting on them...
G.Anthony Thanks this. -
Apply to all of them. Companies need drivers.
Dispute your DAC if they put anything on it. -

Most of these trainers are idiots. They train cause it's good money. You should consider training once you have enough experience. This industry needs more patient trainers.
HalpinUout, Sneakerfix and 123456 Thank this. -
Get to another company, tell them you want additional training. You're not going to be an experienced top driver in 2 weeks, and if he was any kind of trainer, he would have worked with you.
Swedish Chef, 77smartin, Puppage and 3 others Thank this.
