So, you're saying I should become a drone driver?

I don't see trucking going anywhere anytime soon. Maybe later after settling on Mars and discovering new source of energy, than just maybe. My onGuard system keeps failing me almost every other day, and you talking about self driving trucks, ##### please

I see autonomous trucks being a boon for freight theft and hijacking. Just find you a truck way out in the middle of nowhere. The radar and such will bring the truck to a stop if you maneuver in front of it the right way. And then open 'er up and clean her out.

Amazon already have their own trailers. They just leased 20 Boeing cargo planes, and are opening up a whole bunch of new sorting centers. So it's basically bye bye UPS and Fed Ex. USPS is gonna be the sole delivery service for them.

I'm sure once Amazon gets going, it's gonna affect Fed Ex and UPS, and maybe UPSF since their under the same umbrella, not from just losing the Amazon account, but from stock holders jumping ship.

I'm not saying UPS or Fed Ex will go under, because Amazon is a small percentage of their accounts, but their may be some massive layoffs coming in the future for them.

I've been to several Army bases and witnessed these guys training.

    Go for it.

They do far less pt than the persay "real" chopper pilots.

Truck driving will be a low paying (not middle class) job.

I'd Get some kind of technical training......
