In October I was driving down the interstate and a pick up truck rear end me so hard he got stuck to my trailer. Him and his passenger had to be transported to the hospital for injures and a tow truck had to come to separate us.
I was not ticketed nor found at fault.

Then last week I was parked at the truck stop. Logged in sleeper birth and another driver hits me n tears of my mirror. Again I am not at fault but still.

Will this affect my record or impact me being hired at other places. What about insurance?

I doubt it! With that tow, your carrier will have to enter the accident on their accident register. I see no further problems.

Both of those accidents were non preventable. As far as the pickup rear ending you, and being towed from the scene, it will still show up as DOT recordable- non preventable. But as long as you re not at fault on either one, then you re good

It shouldn t. I got rear ended myself two weeks ago, and the trooper told me it would not affect my CO s insurance since he was at fault

    yup it will.... sucks...
I was side swiped in OCT the other drive was at fault and get 3 tickets.... no license (suspended), unsafe lane change, no insurance... non dot reportable (no one had to be towed)

my insurance went up because I HAD an accident... lost my safe driver discount.... $30 a month on my auto and $50 a month on the truck..

You make no sense. We're talking commercial vehicles here, future jobs and how non-preventable wrecks wiill affect his employment options.

I have been hit twice by one a pickup and two a car. The pickup tried to pass me at a diversion set up by the highway patrol and tore the whole side of his pickup off and the second was a car that went under my trailer in a two lane turn(it was icy). Neither accident went on my record and in both instances, the highway patrol was present at the site when it happened. As long as you are NOT at fault, you have nothing to worry about. Maybe, I was lucky at the highway patrol was there to witness what happened. When it is a dispute between two parties involved, it may get to be more of a gray(undetermined) area. Whatever you do, keep all records, photographs, and any legal paperwork involved. Never depend on verbal.
