Worked my ### off getting my year in, only taking hometime 3 times. All under the impression that as long as I had stayed out long enough I could take 7-14 days off, as I was told at orientation. Well, turns out that was a lie, maximum days is 5, except when it's not. 'It's case by case'. Meaning you're welcome to stay out 10 weeks and flip a coin to see if they give you 10 days or 5. But hey, you can always burn your pto if it comes up tails instead of heads.

So, thanks for telling me I'm #### out of luck on over 15 days of hometime I should have been able to use between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I guess when they say we're a family, it's a dysfunctional one.

Oh, and before I forget, shout out to whoever it is in dispatch that just hangs up when you're not one of their drivers calling with an issue. Always a sign of a healthy work environment when other drivers mention having to Qualcomm them and threaten an ### beating after trying to call over a dozen times just to get their call answered.

Companies will tell you whatever they think they need to tell you to get you in the seat. At least you got your year in.

Move on. Where are you located? Magnum looks like good home time.

A company that says they treat you like family means nothing to me. It's a vague promise everyone makes, like the back of trailers that say "great pay and home time".

Did you not see the part about going home three times? I was out for almost 5 months before I went home. A day for every week, 5 months. You do the math.

Oh, and that's when that 7-14 became a maximum of 8, which became 5 the next time. They didn't even have their own policy straight until the head of operations got involved.
