This yard is a joke. Corners are very tight if not impossible. Rows are often barely wide enough for a rig to pass through. Trailers are parked on top of each other. Loaded trailers are buried. I'm left wondering why this yard is in possession of so many scrap trailers. It's a simple case of trying to fit too many trailers into a very small space. Hope there are plans to make a change...

At least wifi works in the yard...

Okay, well it is quiet difficult for someone to comment on your thread when you are very vague on what you are speaking of specifically. We know this is a terminal and we know this terminal is located in Wilsonville, but we don't know which state? Futhermore, we aren't sure which company you speak of, I assume it is a rather large company, but not sure?

It IS a joke! I asked Marc Rogers when it was gonna be cleaned up last November. That carpetbagger came back with such a lie that i knew things were only gonna get worse. Been with IDC since '05, but they're about to lose another veteran driver because of the way this company has been run into the ground. I don't know why i'm even taking the time to post...:biggrin_2552:

Marc Rogers told us last November to be patient because the yard was holding extra trailers for the holiday season and that our patience was, "supporting Christmas". What a crock. It's been overflowing with trailers since he closed our 'newer' terminal in Troutdale. And it's overflowing to this day. Christmas...right!

When i spoke to terminal manager Mike he told me IDC was holding on to dozens of scrapped trailers at the yard because the bean counters in Tacoma were holding out for a better price on them. That's the real reason why it's always crowded in there. Cheap #####.

That yard was a joke 12yrs ago when I worked at IDC, and closing Troutdale can not have made it any better.
