I agree the weekly payments are MUCH higher compared to my company insurance, but those weekly payments are your cash, always your cash, until you spend that cash for your medical needs. If you don't need medical services that money still belongs to you. I typically use almost no medical services that my health insurance would cover. At the end of the year all of my premiums disappear into thin air forever. Your HSA contributions remain yours forever. As long as you spend that money on covered medical expenses it comes out of your pay before taxes, and is never taxed. If you leave the company you can take that cash with you. If you decide to empty the cash account and spend it on whiskey and ladies of questionable reputation you just pay income tax on anything not covered by as a medical expense.

Fellow vet here looking at JP myself. So far, I have found mostly positive stuff. I really like the longevity bonus. Staying with a company for 5 years and getting a 10K bonus sounds good to me. Not crazy about the 62MPH governor but, as someone already said, fuel bonus is a plus as well.

Can anyone tell me if they train in any other states? I live in North Carolina and would need to travel for the training. Would like to stay in my state if I could to get my training.

@supertrkr43 can you update us as to the training?

Close training the do to you is Springfield mo..they use to allow you go to a creditable school and they would accept you from that school as long as they accept the school curriculum and training. However, you would still go theu there training with a trainer difference you would start as c seat believe which has garunteed pay.

Jim Palmer training is in Missoula, MT and Wil-Trans training is Springfield, MO. They prefer no-CDL (go through their school) or 2 years OTR with your CDL. If your OTR isn't recent, whatever they mean by that, you will ride with a trainer for 20k miles and then get your own truck. No passengers or pets for the first 2 months. After your 2 month period both are OK.
