As the thread title states: Windmill Travel Center to open this month at site of former Don's Truck Stop

I haven't been up to Michigan in something like five or six years, so I can't say much more about this site than what the story says. All I remember about Lansing is that there was a J and a Pilot somewhere near the I-69/I-96 junction (and a Lowe's DC somewhere near Grand Ledge); this one is down on the southwest side on Lansing Rd. Nothing in the story mentions how much available truck parking there will be, but it will be a Marathon fueling station, and the story mentions they're looking to reopen the restaurant sometime in the next month.

Hopefully this will help those of y'all who live/travel up that way.

I always used to hear their ads on Midnight Trucker (pre-XM days), then suddenly nothing. I figured they made it into a Pilot or something.

Used to be the Windmill was the only truckstop I'd see running I 96 through Lansing. Had good food too. Had a decent shop back then too.
