Didn't see any postings about this any where so here it goes.

In all the Internationals I have run in time the windows start to squeak really bad when I roll them up. I have tried a few things you might think are dumb but I cant stand it any more its deafening, Some one screaming in your ear loud enough to brake your eat drums could sum it up.

I have tried baby powder(dumb) and grease off my 5th wheel around the edges. I have though about getting my windows waxed but before I spend money on it, does any one know how to fix this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

(EDIT: No this is not related to my radio post about my windows making my radio squeal.)

Yes, it is bad, especially in the Prostars! Deafening!!! I haven't dealt with an older 9000 series cab in a while for this, but I have many times for Prostars. I take the interior panel off. Take off the rubber weather seal to gain access to the regulator. The squeal is caused from dry friction between the slide rail and slide block. I just take some white grease and lube up the rail, making sure the lube gets inbetween the block and rail. Item 4 and 5 in the picture. What series of truck are you working with, and did you remove the inner door panels?

Yep, bingo!!! Once you get it open, you will find some very fine plastic power inside the track from the slide block wearing down. Make sure you blow that out too.

No doubt! Since I am in and out of these trucks every day I have heard more than my fair share of the window squeal. Several squeal so loud, or the right pitch, that I get that falling sensation!!! I can't believe International hasn't come up with a better design or materials.
