Truck is an '05 Volvo m670. My w/s wiper system works just fine except when I turn them off. I don't know why but they stop at a 45 degree angle on the windshield, right in front of my line of sight. Like I say, they cycle just fine, no problems there. It's just when they stop, they do so right in front of my eyes. Any help would be appreciated.:biggrin_2556:

Pablo, thanks for you response. Can it be repaired or should I just replace the motor?

BTW, as I can see 24 V motors are more reliable.... may be it is related with lower currents with the same size. I'd say starter motors of European versions got less problems in 24v system

I checked in to the dealership here in Houston and they said my W/W system is not involved in the recall. :biggrin_25510:

Bunch of BS.It's an easy fix bossboy I had the same problem on my 05 and didn't get a sticker on level one in Joplin because of that even though wipers were working but stoping at 45 deg like you say.99 percent its not the motor but the cycle position.Anyone who knows a little bit can adjust this for you.Just watch out for disshonest shops that will try to push you to change the motor right away.Check at 2-3 different places but its not an expensive fix I'm sure
