Yogi, my cousin drove for them and loved them. He made pretty good money. The downside is (well not really) is he was running 4000 a week! I ran his logbooks for the first 5 months of him being out there! Windy Hill does a lot of multi stop lowes, walmarts, home depots etc... He liked it because when he did shutdown he always had his own private parking spot. This was due to delivery to the actual store instead of the warehouses. He would be parked on the side of home depot sitting outside his truck cooking on his little bbq. Another thing he really liked about WH was that they left him alone. They didn't hound him on the Qualcomm all day. He said as long as you knew what you were doing and didn't F-up then they didn't bother you.

Good luck Yogi, I think you will end up liking it there. Oh yeah one more thing, don't expect some big fancy terminal here in Eustis. It is just a garage with a little office inside. The main terminal is in WI.

    123456 Thanks this.

Yogi keep in mind they are a small company and they don't have thousands of trucks sitting in the yard. Just a little note from my cousin he told me yesterday that Windy Hill is getting all new trucks. Cascadia's. Might be worth your wait. If they don't have a truck right away it really isn't in their hands. Personally I would definitely tell you to try and wait it out. They are a good company to run for. I know it sucks with your money situation though. Gotta do what you gotta do! I would keep calling them everyday though. Good luck man!

    Yeah, that's great advice Chompi.
Sit down there making $0.00 waiting for some two-bit coolie outfit to buy new trucks while the bills keep rolling in. :biggrin_25511:
