    You have lines on your roads in winter .. it’s not uncommon in parts of Canada to not see the centre line for weeks . Watch both ditches and guesstimate your lane . Many people don’t scan far enough down the road so they wander side to side .

    When my company first put event cameras in the trucks it was winter... In the first week my camera triggered for over 100 false lane departure events, by the end of the second week they turned off the lane departure trigger... Its never been reactivated, and that was over 2 years ago.

    Sometimes they just go off for no reason.

    I pulled the fuse on mine.

    Thank You for the replies. I know you guys get stuck in bad weather situations and I wondered what happens on those.
