The windshield wiper fluid motor doesn't run when I press into the turn signal stalk. Before I replaced the entire turn signal assembly, it would work intermittently but now nothing. Is there a specific fuse or relay I need to replace somewhere?

Not sure about fuse location but did have the small pump motor go out on my windshield washer reservoir once. It's about $20. I think KW and Pete ones are the same.

What rollin coal said. I have had to replace a few motors. For me it's never been anything except the motor.

my brand new 389 was the pigtail on the wiring going into the bottle............new plug fixed it

I couldn't find the reason why it wasn't working so I did a redneck fix. Clipped the wires, ran new wire into the cab to the dash, and spliced the 2 wires to an unused toggle switch powered by the power lead next to it. Now I can use the wiper fluid to clean the dirty snow/water road spray off the windshield when I go to Dallas tomorrow.
Only snow I like is the dry crystal snow that doesn't melt. -
A basic knowledge of electrical goes a long way. Good fix
MJ1657 Thanks this. -
Does the pump have any wires going into it?
Mine is not working and the motor is sitting with nothing connected to it... I searched everywhere -
LOL yes , pretty sure its just positive and ground, pump should have a spot for a plug on it.

I just replaced the reservoir and the pump in one go and I am still having the same problem. Pump gets hot as hell but doesn't seem to be actually running. The old pump got hot but the new one started smoking. I checked to make sure there was power to the pump before replacing it and its at 12v. Should I replace the pump again? Maybe the new one came broken?
