I got in PRE 5gb rule, I constantly stream radio and download songs, I average 12gb a month for the 59.99 and they cant do #### about it. If I were to upgrade the aircard with the new contract I would be screwed, but because I keep this one, and will buy off of ebay when I need to upgrade, I will have all the GB I want.

BTW, I would have burnt verizon hq down over a $1200 bill, they are truely rapists. 59.99 pays for 5gb, but if you buy 5gb after that it is $1200???

I kept noticing the usage saying "you have used 9.7 gigabytes of your 5 gigabyte limit, but it seemed so out of whack that I just thought, "That can't be right!" After awhile I did the math, then, once I regained consciousness:biggrin_25524:, I called them and despite the fact that over the previous 18 mos. I had never once gone over my limit, it was correct. I just got a case of temporary "music download insanity". I've since recovered, thank you. And Verizon made a one-time adjustment whereby I paid an extra $175 that, added to my monthly bill of about $75, put me at $250 or so. That's a lot, but nowhere near what it would have been. So, all-in-all, I am satisfied. They have excellent coverage and for the time being I see no reliable services comparable to them.

I live in Tell City, In and AT&T finally gave us the wireless coverage, I think in November. It's slow there, but at least it works. Beats going to the libary to get online.
AT&T works good almost everywhere I go, I like the 3G service around the big cities.

There should not be an issue with you posting that info.
I am not sure what's happened to your post.

i have had sprint evdo service for 2 years now, at $59.99 a month. great coverage, and the speed is generally top notch. average on high speed rev a is 1.5mb/sec download. i watch hulu, you tube, etc. even on nthe slowest 1xrtt speed, the equivalent of the old dialup, i can poke along and get my banking done, and facebook.
the best thing is security. on a public wifi portal, anyone who is on, with the right tech know-how, can see what you are doing. so if you do any secure transactions, they aren't REALLY secure!
i got a refurb novatel usb card from evdoinfo.com for free w/2 year contract. if you don't want the contract, be prepared to pay the portion that sprint subsidises(around $200).

Millenicom uses the Sprint/Verison towers and is contract free and limit free. I still say, if you already have a cell with a SIM card (T Mobile, AT&T) and you have a data plan on it (I have the iphone) go buy an unlocked aircard and use your SIM card from your phone in the aircard when you need it. Data plan on my phone is $30/month and unlimited (compared to the $60/month 5 GB limits on the aircard plans).
