Hi everyone,
I'm new on here but enjoying what I see. I am wondering if anyone knows of a printer that will print wirelessly from an iPad. I need to be able to print anywhere without using wifi. I'd appreciate any ideas.

Walmart & best buy sell wireless printers that apple air print compatible for printing off iPhone & iPads.

Any HP printer made after 2010 is AirPrint capable. You have to have a wireless network that connect your iPad to the printer tho. It doesn't have to be Internet capable just a wireless network I've got a cheap wireless router in my truck so I can print permits from my phone.

Yep the printer needs to connect to a router.
Anybody know if you can hook upto a printer with a ipad USB attachment? -
i bought a cheap router and print straight from my galaxy for permits also works great better than paying $2 a page at truckstops

I use an app called printer pro to print on my older printer

I think there are some Bluetooth capable printers as well.
edit: Nevermind, you have to jailbreak your iDevice to make it print over Bluetooth. But seems there are quite a few solutions when I googled "
print from iPad". -
I paid $25.00(7 or 8 years ago) for a HP4795 @ Best Buy, it has its own wireless network, I can print from my Droid RazrMaxx, my laptop, my grandaughter can print from her I-Phone, tablet, and I-Pod, I can't remember anyone printing here from an I-Pad but if it works with all the other stuff I would think it would.

That's right. I need to be able to print permits and receipts, etc. anywhere I end up and without a big mess of electronics. Just my iPad and a printer.
