Contact as many companies as you want; the more the better.
Then, make a list of the ones that offer you a job at graduation.
From that list, narrow down to the one you want to work for.

Had my license suspended aboot 20 years ago. Long story short I took a class that was required to keep it from being suspended. Took class , document didn’t get sent to DPS. I had no clue till got a letter saying oh by the way you effing license is suspended. Luckily I had the original document and took it up there and stuck it in their face. I was no happy.

I guess what I should have said was in 2005 I didn’t have a hard time landing a job with a FTP (traffic fine) on my MVR. But you’re right too, it’s long been cleared from my record.

Thank you all very much for the advice. I appreciate it immensely. I will head the advice and make a list of companies and apply to see whether this is a viable career path for me.

I had same boat but mine was failure to renew plates on time. It made zero difference with CDL

NTB Trucking looks good for you.
Four terminals in Michigan. Headquartered in Grand Rapids.
    Here's from the website:
"NO suspended license (current). Prior suspensions will be reviewed for cause."
Ask about our Tuition Reimbursement Program!
    Great home time!

As soon as you get a school start date; submit applications.
You aren't in a rush; plenty of time between now and graduation to choose a company.

    I skipped everything.

License suspended due to failure to pay is not an issue. No company will give it a second look.

It’s only an issue if you’re on the road and under a load ;)
