I'm from poplae Bluff and when i worked for them in the van division almost 3 years ago.. I was home Friday night or Saturday morning and left around 3 am Monday. I would always load beer from St Louis and deliver to dyersburg tn. That was my load every Friday. I loved the company... I miss it so much but someone was right and the safety guy is completely unforgiving. One mistake and I was out like a wet dog on a clean pursian rug.
I ran a lot of pa, south east, Midwest and some New Jersey. I got a old 386 that would walk up hills, no matter the weight. I flew up 81 with a gross weight of 78,500 one trip. Still managed 6.2 mpg with my trailer fins opened. They had the trucks tuned and set up right. Not for sure on the brand new trucks.

Basically everything I know from working there and talking to other drivers the van division is definitely awesome one of the best out there. End dump which I was on was ok just hard work, dangerous and always overloaded. Also the trucks are speced so wrong on the end dump side.

Umm no I didn't want to take it but they wouldn't let me dump it off and I had no clue how much I was over the place had no scale. And that pretty boy sliver spoon boy wouldn't of answered his phone. Btw did I mention that i wasn't even supposed to be doing that load cause it was my last day there and was supposed to he heading back to the yard to go home. But because of that load that only paid me $70 and cost me $1000 and 8000 lbs of shoveling I didn't make it back when I was supposed to, and then cause of that had to drive in a blizzard home In rental car. There was a lot to this story, 1. Shouldn't of took the load 2. Should of dumped it in there parking lot 3. Should of found a better way around the scale 4. If I knew they weren't gunna pay the fine I would not of shovled the load would of called a taxi and made Tracy shovel it! Btw up until that load it really wasn't a bad company, especially since I had Jodi as a dispatcher if I'd of had amy I would of quit the 1st week. Anyhow it's all good I'm back doing what I did 5.5 years prior running hazardous tanker ,home every day, make as much sumtime more then driving otr, free health insurance!:)
