They're not going to let this rest. They want their money. What you need to do is call them back tell them your situation and make some kind of arrangements. They'll be more understanding if you call them rather then them calling you.Hopefully they're not like credit card companies and have a late charge fee.

It is always best to call your creditors and work out a plan, rather than they come back at you with brute force. I can assure you (to the o/p) stand up and take responsibility for your actions and I would venture to guess the state will indeed work out a re-payment plan. The repercussions of any inaction's will result in severe penalties and seizures. You are dealing with the state, as they are dealing with the Fed's in this WIA money. Wanna have the Fed's after you?

Good luck on that outcome. Wanna lose any Federal tax refund monies? Wanna be denied Federally backed up mortgage money? And the list goes on and on.

Stand up own up, make contact with the state WIA program on this NOW, before you lose more than you can imagine.

If you don't have the money you don't have the money. What Workforce will probably end up doing is if you're working they'll garnish your check. So I would make arrangments before they take your entire paycheck till its all paid.Surely you can afford$50.00 a week can't you that's if you are working.

This kind of question makes my blood boil. Go get yourself 1 or 2 or 3 jobs no matter what they are and pay it back.

Sucks when some of us are paying for so many just sitting around on their lazy butts.

It is a government program, so they will garnish wages or tax returns till they get it back. But they will get it back one way or the other and with interest.

The thing is only 25% of all graduates are employed by fourth quarter which is how long agreement is .

    I'm only getting ###### over because I said I didn't want to be a trucker anymore .

Plus I'll be collecting disability soon

Garnish the wages, Thank you Patty, for the life of me, I had a complete meltdown for that term, Garnish wages!

Exactly for me too (minus the Ray, lol) I had called my creditors when I lost my computer for a while, and was late in mailing in the payments. They knew (from the records) that I always paid online. Thankfully they all did not charge me the fee's or doubled my next monthly payments!

This is why the system get's abused. Some really want, need and take full advantage of re-training, and go onto a better life.

Others, (and I know from experience), just go thru the training, to just stay on unemployment, with no intention whatsoever to actually get a job in what they were trained for, with our tax dollars.

So yeah, it sucks that some people are Little Dracula's, sucking the life blood out of the ones that put into the system, and the ones that really want to make a difference in their lives.

Nobody likes to pay bills but believe me they will not put this under the rug and you only make it worse op by just ignoring it hoping it goes away.If you have a job make arrangements to pay them back.Once I get a steady job im going to double up on my payments incase there's a month I cant pay them.A friend works for a construction company that's starting back up tomorrow and hes putting in a good word for me.Im applying there tomorrow.Nice to see Winter is about over. Its dam near tanning weather here, lol.
