Was driving flats till 05/2009, It became so bad for miles I quit. Sooooo, have things picked up to where an old foggy with "a few miles under the belt" can find a school for refresh and a company that'll have some miles in vans?
It miles terrible at the beginning of 2009! Guess I'll have to start over at the bottom... again.
Work out there yet?

Welcome to the forum...
I think many carriers are in a hiring mode and they would be attracted to your experience, provided your MVR and all that other stuff is clean. More than likely though, a refresher course would be required. -
Great to have you on board......

Thanx for the response guys..have to admit I tucked tail and ran for the hills so to speak back in spring '09. Trying to get back in the saddle, flats, with Hunt... slow international trucks........ but they say a lot of repeat shippers with only 20% tarp and 20% oversize/permit.. so may be able to get some miles in. Anyone familiar with Hunt "Company Employee" situations??????

Hunt Transportation out of Omaha ? Owned by Crete/Shaffer. Haven't heard anything bad about them.

Thanks "Allow Me", ya know the stories fly and come from different points of view, lots of neagatives from new drivers abound on any company, lol.
Listening to some, all companys are "the worst", others say theirs is the best! -
