Was accepted into Prime's cdl training as a new driver. They want my ten year work history, explaining gaps yada yada.I had a shoulder injury that led to a surgery and me going on workers comp for almost a year, this ended almost 7 years ago.I will disclose everything on my past but will this send me home???
I am 30 in excellent shape and have had no issues since.
I can't find any of my documents on my health clearance and the doctor is retired and I leave in two weeks........![]()

Well, the facility the doctor was at should still have records of your clearance. If you remember the name of the clinic or hospital, that would be the place to start.
The actual fact that it was work comp shouldn't stop you at all. -
I would not be too sure about this.
Many of the applications are asking the question about workmen's comp claims. I would wonder what the interest is unless they are going to use the information in some way.
As tight as the employment is, it could become a factor. -
It could, but my hubby had a work comp claim with his back injury, and that didn't hold him back any, and he has a 40% disability rating on top of it.
In today's economy and state of the industry, it's possible it could be a problem, but in general it wouldn't be. -
