If not what is the best area for work ? And a good co. to work for ? I pulled all kinds of trailers the last few years, clean m.v. record, etc. Thanks

Midland/ Odessa is booming, I work for a small company called MKH Transportation, come out here and apply...you will have plenty of companies to choose from.

I'm heading there this week, myself. Do you know of any companies that are newbie friendly, or any ones to avoid?

Thanks again RunningMan, I looked on craigslist and there is quite a few jobs in the Midland/odessa area. I had elbow surgery on 1-31,restrictions where no lifting at all. Monday the dr. said to start exercising it, in about 4 weeks I should be all good.

I left Malone because after all my expenses I cleared $44k....my best year as a company driver I made $66k. I can make $90K out here in a year and im paid hourly so if I put in a 16 to 18 hour day im paid for every minute. I had to run to Dallas, my truck clutch burned up, I was down for two days, they paid me for every hour I was gone from our terminal. Plus a $100 dollar a day for a hotel and food. To me I can't beat it.
