Ok, I will let you know what I find! I'm thinking that West Texas is going to be running longer then the rest of the locations but I'm not sure.

I thinks I got me a gig running a water truck to the residences out on the rigs? They checked my MVR and they say my Physical card is no good, I have proof that it is. Certified copies of everything! I let my physical lapse a few days and they suspended my CDL but reinstated it as soon as I brought in my new card and long form, go figure right!

I have been moving rigs for a long time and for advice to new folks... Don't consider this if you want a 70 hour rule, if you are afraid of manual labor or just plain are lazy.If you want a tidy job in a politically correct enviornment, this is not it.
Last year as a company haul truck driver I made $106k, not including my per diem and housing allowance, and anybody with some determinationation and willingness to learn can do it. I did ND, the pay was great but living expenses eat it up.West Texas where I am is booming as are South TX, WY, Southeast New Mexico is busy, and OK is picking up. Stay away from Arkansas as you might make 20 an hour after 5 years.... California is picking up but again, cost of living factors. If you have HazMat, EVERYBODY wants to hire you!!!
The work is hard and demanding, and you can kill yourself real fast if you cannot stay focused on EVERYTHING around you on a rig move. Lots of companies will let you put an RV on the yard which is what I do to live rent free. Most every nite we get in early enough, steaks are on the grill, none of us live on top ramen....HeWhoMustNotBeNamed, Rollerzonlypimp, BlackGoddess2011 and 3 others Thank this. -
Still jamming here. Worked 96 hours last week, life is good.

I was wondering if that may be part of it!, I found a few of those too, They said they had a unbelievable job and that they would tell me all about it for a fee!I wasn't that stupid, and they went away about as fast as they arrived!
