Working at the ports worth it?

You can make some money doing it, especially union. But for me, no amount of money is worth dealing with those ####ing zoos every day.

IF you are offered a Union Position and sit in the Longhouse every morning waiting for your name to be called and assigned job position within the dock system you have something there.

Other than that get away from the Ports. Ive done exactly about a year of Container work with two seperate companies and I have no expectation of any quality time spent making money with seacans in container work. YOU the driver is of no value to those who assign you to go get a box or move a box here or there.
